Eucharist
Through the proclamation of the Word and in the reception of the Eucharist, we become Christian, present in a world that still needs visible signs of His saving presence. In the Eucharist, we share in God’s plan of salvation. We are united with Christ and share in His divine life. Eucharist is at once an act of worship, a participation in Jesus’ eternal sacrifice, a celebration of salvation, and a thanksgiving to God the Father in union with the Risen Christ.
Preparation for the sacrament of the Eucharist usually occurs in the 2nd grade for children through the parish school or FLOCK program. Adults being received into the Church are prepared through the RCIA process (See our Faith Formation tab on the home page for more information).
